Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that they abolished “Sightseeing week” executed in August every year on the first.

The long title on the week of sightseeing is “Uplift of the sightseeing morality and week of the safeguard of the tourist attraction. “
The Pulmonary regurgitation of the maintenance of the spread of the concept concerning sightseeing and the tourist attraction etc. was consented to in the Cabinet Council for 65 years by the purpose. The beautification campaign etc. of the coast were executed, and 10,000 posters that printed catchphrase “Feelings changed by a fresh sightseeing-experience, too” were posted in the train etc. last year on 1st – 7th in August annually.

However, because the approach by full year had become possible because of becoming of “Uplift of morality” of the tourist whom the sightseeing week sued unsuitable for the age, and the sightseeing agency inauguration in October, ’08, the abolition was decided. The abolition on the week and the anniversary that the government decided is “Not heard it” (sightseeing agency) and Iu. It is consented in the Cabinet Council on the second, and it decides it formally.
